The single-arm dumbbell bench press is an excellent exercise for working your core. Though it is a fairly straightforward workout, it is still important that you practice proper technique. Follow the steps outlined below, or the video below, to make sure that you are on the right track:
- Lay back on the weight bench with a dumbbell in one hand.
- Raise the dumbbell into the air, fully extending your arm.
- Lower the dumbbell by bending your arm at the elbow until the dumbbell has returned to chest level.
- Complete desired number of reps, then switch arms and begin again.
